im 14,I wanna get something gas powered that I can have fun with and just ride everyday,btw I have a really big gravel lot behind my house,so that’s where i’d ride it,I think I maybe kinda old for a minibike or am I? my dad told me that pocketrockets are junk and I would’nt really have anywhere to ride it and after actually seeing how big one actually is I don’t want one,I don’t know if i’d like a gas scooter or not,are they loud? how fast would one go? and I already have 2 electric scooters,would a gas scooter be an upgrade? I don’t want a dirt bike,im looking for something with just a throttle and a hand brake for around 200 at the most,any ideas?

I’m 16 years old and I was wondering if i was old enough to ride a gas scooter without a license. Or would I need one or have to be older?

I have a zooma 33cc gas scooter and it does not start or anything at all. And both gas cables don’t reach all the way in the gas tank. Is there a place I can go in washington state for somebody to look at it and tell me what to do. For example jiffy lube or maybe les schwab?

I live in Philadelphia and want to buy a gas scooter not the big ones, just one of them ones you ride around and stand up on just something to play around with, but Im not sure if they are legal just trying to find out b4 I buy one thanx

My gas scooter went to a lower pitched noise and then died after 3 seconds. It then was frozen and locked up when i tried pull starting it, so i pushed it home.
I tried pull starting again it but it wont pull free. I took off the cylinder and the piston was all gouged up and the cylinder wall was too. does anyone have any advise they can help with this issue to prevent this from happening the next time i get a piston cylinder rebuild kit?

I have heard a lot about these engines seizing and pistons being damaged due to not enough oil.

The company says to start with a 25:1 fuel ratio (5 oz oil per gallon) and then after the "break-in" period (two tanks) switch to a 32:1 ratio (4 oz oil per gallon). I don’t know much about engines, so I am wondering if the fact that they switch to one ounce less oil is what damages the engine, and if I should stay with the 25:1 mixture.

There also might be disadvantages to keeping the 25:1 mixture (such as lower performance). I did have a gas scooter very similar to this one, but with a 36cc engine instead of 52cc. The scooter ran great for 4 years until I just sold it to buy this faster scooter.

I have a feeling the Dirt Dog 52cc company wants me to have better performance, but I also have a feeling that might be sacrificing the prolonged life of the engine.

I forgot to say that I ran a 25:1 fuel ratio the entire time I owned the 36cc scooter, in which it ran great. That manufacturer mentioned nothing about switching to 32:1 after the break-in period.

My gas scooter is extremely similar to the XG-470.( as seen here http://kidsonroll.com/images/xg470/xg470.jpg) But instead of the lights being at the top of the front, they are in the middle of the front bar. It is not a gsx36cc because mine has turn signals.

Its a 49cc gas scooter fs507. I’ve tried to find info on it but come up empty.

I have an X-Formula gas scooter and it comes with electric start and one day it was fine and the seconed day the electric start failed. I charged the battery and still nothing. I dont know what to do next, the warrenty expired. So only the pull starter works. Please answer this post.

My gas scooter gas accelerator won’t accelerator or go? Do you know what is wrong, my scooter just won’t let you gas it, when you gas it it the nob thing, just goes around?

should u buy a gas scooter or a mini bike. i dont care about the laws of these items which one seems better, and fun. plz explain why u think your choice is better than the other.

My 49cc xg499 gas scooter wont start up after I had started it and wont start up again after being shut off ? i just put on a new carburetor or could it be the carburetor, or the spark plug? thanks

I have found a bike on eBay that i want to buy, and if you are someone with experience in pocket gas scooter bikes (did that make sense?), I would greatly appreciate your help.
(If the ad is expired, don’t tell me, there is 5 new listings a day for this bike, and i don’t expect them to slow down, this guy is a "powerseller.")
