I want a cheap mini chopper (under 0 shipped), but I dont want something that is going to be finicy, and a money pit.

here is my criteria:

-Needs to be street legal and classify as a moped (ie: turn signals, lights, etc.)
-doesnt have to be a chopper (scooters tend to be more expensive, I assume choppers are cheaper b/c of the simplicity)
-needs to go over 40mph
-needs to be under 50cc
-hopefully under 0
-needs to be able to drive 20 miles without overheating

Hey everyone, look im looking for a bike or even a scooter bigger than a mini bike for under 0. By bigger I mean 50-60 inches long and at least 25 inches high. Another thing is that I don’t really care if the thing wont go past 30 mph. I guess 25 mph would be the minimum. I would like it to be gas powered, around 50cc. So basically i want to go 25-40 mph, running on gas, without looking like a loser with my knees sticking out and my back arched like crazy. I am going to most likely use it for fun, traveling through my town, and my friend will most likely get the same model so we can casually race each other. Can anyone give me a vehicle that fits the profile??? Thanks!

I’m asking because I live in Maryland, on the border of Maryland and DC, and in Maryland, for a motor scooter of 50cc or less, I don’t need any additional motorcycle license, etc. It would suck if I have to go around the state border, just to use my motor scooter "legally".

kk im 14 and in quebec im now allowed to buy a scooter under 50cc does that mean i can buy for instance a supermoto under 50cc?

hi ive got a lil mini scooter with like a 48-50cc weedwacker motor on it , ive done everything i can thing of and i still cant get it to run , the carburator is clean and the motor is getting good compression and its got great spark , if i shoot starting fluid down it it still wont fire , i took the muffler off it last night and got it running but i thought it might be coinsodence because i just sprayed starting fluid down it again , could my muffler be plugged ? ,., is there anything else im not looking at that im forgeting ? ,., please let me know my son is dying to go for a ride
i got it running now , it only idles thow as soon as i hit the gas it dies out but it starts right back up , ive adjusted every part of the carburator thats posible and everytime itll just choke out and die on me , i actualy did pull the muffler off and started it and it seemed like it ran better way better actualy but it was to noisy to actualy try and drive it down the block , im going to try and get a muffler tomorrow ( the one on it looks aftermarket ) , i will keep you posted ( any other ideas thow b4 i spend money ? ) , o yea im also mixing my gas and oil ( 2 ounces of 2 stroke oil per gallon of gas , sound right ? )
