I am looking at buying a cheap scooter that is 49cc – 50cc. It needs to be cheap and must go at least 50mph. I have no idea what to buy!

If you are having trouble with your mini bike/quad whereby its difficult to start, bogging down, cutting out or overflowing then this video could help you get it running sweet. Of course i would check firstly that there is compression, (the pull start should be difficult to pull slowly) and that there is spark. Do that by removing the spark and with it still connected to the HT lead, Place it against the cylinder and pull the starter. You should get a spark arcing across. Carbs are pretty much the most common of all problems on these mini 47 and 49 cc engines and that can be anything from overflowing, which is caused when the float gets stuck in the bottom of the bowl or when the cut of valve gets stuck open too, to cutting out and bogging down, This is usually a blockage of the main jet. It is very important to keep the jet clean and to make sure you can see clearly through it as seen in the video. if you get dirt in here then less fuel is able to get through when on open throttle and the bike is starved, causing it to cut out or loose revs. make sure to get the 2 stroke ratio to fuel right too. A lot of the blockage problems are generally caused by having too much 2 stroke mixed in and it turns gooey after a while.

Where is a reputable place where i can buy a 50cc or less or electric scooter/moped in the Arlington VA/DC or surrounding areas? I DO NOT want a Vespa.

i lost my license due to failing eyesight.i am looking for a 50cc street legal motorcycle, something designed like the pagsta mini or tank mini 50. i see alot of chinese made ones, but cant find anyone who sells them retail, you have to become a dealer.i would even be interested in a sport bike style like the aprillia rs50. it just has to meet the guidelines as considered a moped. lets face it, scooters are just ugly. i only need it to travel a few miles and would rather walk than to be seen on a scooter.i have even thought about buying a honda rebel and putting a 50cc motor on it i live in virginia and would like help finding a bike and or a dealer near here. any help would be appreciated.

What do you think are the best learner legal mopeds for Ireland

Preferably something with a bit of power for hills

I like the folding mini bikes of the 60′s and 70′s for their practicality. This one is called the Fuji Go Devil Mini Bike and looks like a square suitcase when completely folded. Hey I am looking to buy a moped or scooter

I want a 150 cc, but I don’t know what the costs/registration and Insurance are for it, if any. If there is any way to go around insurance and registration in Utah, I’d like to know what it is , but if not, what is the costs for a 150 cc, and if I get a 50cc is there any way around paying all that ? and I’d like just general info on scooters since I know nothing about it like good brands prices to pay gas mileage cc’s all that, miles, etc. So please help!

Hopefully beside simply the "euro moped" style ones made by Razor mostly for 10-13 year olds that go a measley 15-mph.

My problem is my tiny (5 foot tall) 25-year-old girlfriend (who was very sheltered until she moved out of her parents’ house) does not have a drivers license and needs something she can use to learn how to drive and follow basic traffic laws with that

A) are not expensive to buy and/or expensive to insure like a car and
B) qualifies as a "neighborhood vehicle" IE no more than 25mph top speed under Texas law so she can drive it legally without a license on 35-or-less mph speed limit streets.
C) can teach her the exact same balance, traffic watching/attention, and throttle control concepts needed to ride a scooter once she does get her license

Links would be greatly appreciated…ideally the type of moped would cost under 0 and have a top speed of exactly 25mpg…though 20mph top speed mopeds (gas or electric) would still be good.
For the record: I ride/drive a 250cc Kawasaki Ninja motorcycle and have both a Class-M and Class-C drivers’ license.

And even though the Ninja is tiny for a motorcycle my 5 foot tall g/f can’t even touch the ground while sitting on it.
Also…the only full-spec scooters that she seems to fit on are only the very smallest 50cc models and when she test drove one she almost threw herself backward (too much power). So I am really trying to be careful here.

I am looking to buy a small 50cc 2 stroke engine for a small r/c / autonomous robot car. I found 2 on ebay that are under 0 and they look to be alright but I don’t know if the engines are crap or if they are alright.

I also need to know if the stock sprocket on these engines will work with a bike chain and sprocket that way I can easily connect them.

I was just wondering what motorbike i should start off with ive already got a Mini Moto but want to move on to a better bike im looking in the range of 50cc to 125cc with a price range of £50-500 or maybe a little more but NO SCOOTERS!!!

This year, I’m going to be getting my L and I know I have to drive a car for a year before I can get my N and start driving on my own. And I’ve been thinking about getting a Scooter ( like a Vespa) and using it just to get to school and back or to get to the grocery store and what not, so a 50cc and max speed of maybe 50 km/h which, I know, isn’t very much.

I’ve been looking at Vespas just because I like the retro-ish style instead of the newer "sportier" kind. And, while I do like Vespas a lot, they’re a little pricey. I’ve checked out the Honda Jazz and the Kymco scooters but I don’t like those very much even though they’re cheaper. Does anyone know any other kinds of scooters that are inexpensive but well made? somewhere between the 2000-4000 price range? I’m definitely hesitant to buy scooters online but I’m not totally ruling it out.

Also if anyone has any security tips for parking (like in a school parking lot) or protection against theft, that would be great also.
